Who We Are
American Flight Schools is a network of flight schools and flying clubs united by a shared commitment to helping people achieve their goals in aviation.
For some, that means building a professional career in the cockpit. For others, it means earning a first certificate, advancing their skills, traveling with greater freedom, or simply discovering the joy of flight. We combine experienced instruction, well-maintained aircraft, and high standards with a welcoming, practical approach that makes aviation more enjoyable and within reach.
With clear training paths, transparent rental rates, and flexible options for students and members, we help pilots move forward with confidence—at their own pace and toward the goals that matter most to them.

What started in 1977 with a single operation, a small fleet, and a shared passion for aviation has grown into one of the country’s most established networks of flight schools and flying clubs.
Today, American Flight Schools includes five flight training facilities, six maintenance facilities, and an aircraft sales division. Across the network, our teams support students, members, aircraft owners, and aspiring professional pilots with experienced instruction, well-maintained aircraft, and a commitment to safety that’s shaped our organization for nearly fifty years.
More than ten thousand military and civilian pilots have trained at one of our locations, and as we continue to grow, our focus remains the same: helping more people build the skills, confidence, and opportunities that aviation can provide.
